Some lunches are worth clearing the whole afternoon for. On Friday 18 December, the Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous Brunch brings exceptional food, premium free-flow and the finest view on the west coast together for five unhurried hours at The Clubhouse.
The Clubhouse looks straight out across Kata Bay. On the day of the Rendezvous, the water below is dotted with yachts at anchor, tenders ferry guests to shore and the terrace hums with conversation in a dozen languages. It is Phuket at its most cosmopolitan, and its most relaxed.
The menu celebrates the produce of the Andaman and the region beyond, prepared with the care and precision Kata Rocks is known for. Expect a very high-end spread designed for grazing, sharing and returning for more, with premium free-flow throughout the afternoon.
This is a brunch in the truest sense: generous, social and best enjoyed slowly.
Doors open at 12:00, when guests arrive by land and by sea. As the afternoon builds, live entertainment and sets from DJ Loya set the tempo, and the terrace becomes a runway for From Tender to Terrace, the Kata Rocks collection created exclusively for the Rendezvous and presented by PRAO Bangkok.
Later, the spirited walk the plank fundraiser for Phuket Has Been Good To Us sees guests bidding to send special guests into the pool, all for a good cause. By 17:00, the light has turned gold and the bay has never looked better.
Tickets are THB 5,500++ per guest. Every yacht arriving for the Rendezvous also receives a complimentary magnum of Champagne.
