A New Decade for the Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous

For ten years, the Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous has drawn yacht owners, captains and friends of the sea to one headland on Phuket’s west coast. Each December, the bay below Kata Rocks filled with hulls at anchor, tenders came and went, and the terrace became a meeting point for everyone who shapes life on the Andaman Sea.

This year, the Rendezvous enters its second decade with a fresh rhythm. On Friday 18 December, the celebration comes together as one beautifully focused afternoon, followed on Saturday 19 December by the Kata Rocks Poker Run.

Why a new format

Ten years is a moment to pause and ask what guests love most. The answer, from the owners and partners who have been with us from the start, was clear: the people, the setting and the feeling of arriving from the water. So we have distilled the Rendezvous to exactly that.

What was once spread over three days now lands in a single, richer afternoon. Fewer hours, more of what matters. It is an evolution of the event, shaped by the yachting community it was built for.

The Brunch at The Clubhouse

From 12:00 to 17:00, The Clubhouse at Kata Rocks hosts the Superyacht Rendezvous Brunch. Expect a menu built around exceptional produce, premium free-flow and a terrace that looks straight out over the bay where the yachts lie at anchor.

The afternoon unfolds with entertainment and live sets, including DJ Loya, and the debut of From Tender to Terrace, a Kata Rocks collection created exclusively for the Rendezvous and presented by PRAO Bangkok. Every guest receives the 2026 limited edition KRSR polo, a keepsake of the year the Rendezvous turned a new page.

Every yacht that arrives for the Rendezvous is welcomed with a complimentary magnum of Champagne. It is our way of honouring the tradition that started it all.

Open to the whole community

The Rendezvous welcomes yacht owners and their guests, in-house guests, friends from across the island and our partners. Tickets are THB 5,500++ per guest, including the brunch, free-flow, fashion show, entertainment and the limited edition polo.

A cause close to home

The afternoon also supports Phuket Has Been Good To Us, a charity helping underprivileged children in Phuket go to school. Its walk the plank fundraiser, where guests bid to send special guests into the pool, is one of the most spirited moments of the day, and a reminder of why this island means so much to all of us.

Then, the Poker Run

The weekend continues on Saturday with the Kata Rocks Poker Run, a rally circumnavigating the island, where crews collect cards at five locations in pursuit of the strongest hand. It finishes back at Kata Rocks with an awards evening, local beers, sparkling and a BBQ to close the weekend in style.

Join us for the next ten years

The Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous has always been about celebrating the sea and the people who make it home. In 2026, that story continues, sharper and more personal than ever.
